Scan the file globus_flavor_labels.conf if core is defined and generate a list of choices. Use the file defined in cfg instead if cfg is defined. Calls permute to generate a list of flavors.
Scan the installation for flavor files found in etc/globus_core and generate a list of flavors if installed is defined.
Generate a list of choices from an XML snippet if xml defined.
